Description

In the process of Section forming, there is a continuous bending of a long strip of M.S. or S.S., into a desired cross-section. The strip passes through sets of rolls mounted on consecutive stands, each set of rolls perform only an incremental part of the bend, until the desired cross-section (profile) is obtained. Section forming is ideal for producing constant- profile parts with long lengths and in large quantities. This is called Open Section because in this process Both Edges of Strip are Un-welded. The usage of open sections are specially for making Door Frames, C Section, L Section, Shutter Pati Etc.
